Held biannually by the School of Architecture at Washington University in St. Louis, the Steedman Fellowship is a juried international design competition for a sponsored year-long study abroad. The 1998 competition brief charged participants with designing an interactive museum on Paris's Seine River; our entry proposed the creation of new public spaces out of unused commercial barges.
