Once a vital part of a working farmstead, this barn fell into disuse over the course of the last century. In 2005, Rasmussen/Su joined the barn's current owners and The New Jersey Barn Company in an effort to salvage the existing structure and adapt it into a single-family home. New design elements such as ductwork, walkways, and railings were articulated in steel to contrast against the orignal timbers.
