Originally relocated from a neighboring property, this carriage house had been converted several decades ago into a small dwelling with tight living quarters and little connection to the outdoors. In 2005, Rasmussen/Su transformed the structure, creating modern, light-filled living spaces within a carefully scaled exterior. Building materials were selected for long-term performance and included soy-based foam insulation and fiber-cement siding.
